Kylian Mbappé wins the first ever Kopa Trophy

Paris Saint-Germain congratulates Kylian Mbappé on winning the Kopa Trophy on Monday evening, awarded to the best young player in the world under 21 by the weekly magazine France Football.

The Paris Saint-Germain striker, who will celebrate his 20th birthday on 20 December, was chosen by a prestigious panel including of all the former winners of the Ballon d'Or, such as former Paris Saint-Germain stars George Weah and Ronaldinho.

In 2018 the “Boy from Bondy” won the domestic treble (French Championship - French Cup - French League Cup) with Paris Saint-Germain, followed by a World Cup victory with France, smashing youth football records and confirming his entry onto the podium of the greatest players in the world.
