Mbappé, the Parc's all-time leading scorer

Kylian Mbappé has a set yet another goal-scoring record in Rouge et Bleu!

In netting the second goal in Wednesday's 2-0 win over Toulouse in the Trophée des Champions, the Paris No.7 is now the all-time leading scorer at the Parc des Princes, netting his 111th goal at the club's home ground and overtaking former teammate Edinson Cavani's 110 goals scored between 2013 and 2020.

Like 'El Matador', Kylian Mbappé reached the milestone in his seventh season at the club. A journey that began way back on 30 September 2017, when he scored his first home goal in the 6-2 win over Girondins de Bordeaux.

The 111 goals for Mbappé have come against 42 different opponents, starting with his most frequent victims Dijon (7 goals scored), Lille, Metz and Monaco (6 goals), and then Angers, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes and Saint-Etienne (5 goals).

Edinson Cavani's goals came mostly against Guingamp (10 goals scored), Bordeaux and Saint-Etienne (8 goals) and Reims (6 goals).

Kylian Mbappé's most prolific season at the Parc des Princes was the 2018-19 campaign, with 23 goals scored, followed by 2021-22 (20 goals) and 2022-23 (18 goals).

For Cavani, the 2017-18 was his most successful with 24 goals at the Parc, followed by 2016-17 (21 goals) and 2014-15 (20 goals).

The two players statistics by competition are almost identical: 83 Ligue 1 goals, 17 UEFA Champions League goals, 7 Coupe de France goals and 3 Coupe de la Ligue goals for Cavani, compared to 88 Ligue 1 goals, 18 UEFA Champions League goals, 3 Coupe de France goals, 1 Coupe de la Ligue goal and now 1 Trophée des Champions goal for Mbappé.

The only point of difference between the two is that Kylian scored the only quadruple of the pair at the Parc des Princes, against Lyon on 7 October 2018.

Another record for the club's all-time leading goal scorer, who etches his name a little deeper into Paris Saint-Germain folklore...
