Kylian Mbappé received his UNFP Trophy
The Paris Saint-Germain striker, voted Ligue 1 player of the month in August, received his UNFP trophy before the club's 2-0 victory over Montpellier on Saturday 25 September at the Parc des Princes.
The French international, elected with 42% of the votes of the tropheesunfp.com users, had beaten Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet (36%) and Clermont striker Mohamed Bayo (22%).
The rouge et bleu number 7 was thus honoured for the sixth time in his career (after April 2017 with Monaco, and March and August 2018, February 2019 and 2021 with Paris), becoming the player who has received the award the most times, one time more than former striker of the capital club Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
