Mbappé wins the UNFP Player of the Month award for February

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé has won the Ligue 1 UNFP Player of the Month award for February.

With 47% of the votes by TROPHEESUNFP.COM users, Kylian Mbappé beat Stade de Reims striker Folarin Balogun (31%) and OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo (22%). The French international, who already won the award in November/December, has now won the award for the second time this season and for the ninth time in his career, a record, ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic (5), Franck Ribery, Eden Hazard and Javier Pastore (4).

This is the 46th time a Paris Saint-Germain player has won the award since it was created at the start of the 2003-04 season, also a record. The club from the capital has won the most awards ahead of Olympique de Marseille (24), LOSC Lille and Olympique Lyonnais (18).

With 4 goals and 1 assist in just 291 minutes of play in February, Mbappé was decisive every 58 minutes.
