Kylian Mbappé in contention for The Best award - FIFA World Player of the Year 2023
The Paris Saint-Germain striker is one of three players in the running to win The Best - FIFA Player of the Year 2023 award.
Kylian Mbappé will be competing against his former club team-mate Lionel Messi (Inter Miami CF/USA - Argentina) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City/ENG - Norway).
The three finalists were chosen by an international jury made up of coaches and captains of men's national teams, journalists and fans, who voted on the official FIFA website.
The award recognises the best individual performance in men's football over the period from 19 December 2022 to 20 August 2023.
The winner will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony on 15 January 2024 in London.
