Kylian Mbappé: "Every footballer plays to leave their mark"

Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time top scorer answered questions from the media following Paris’s win over Nantes and his 201st goal for the club at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

ON BEcomING Paris Saint-Germain'S ALL-TIME TOP SCORER

"I'm already focused on Wednesday's game. I enjoyed it with the fans, which was really special. I'd like to thank everyone who was at the stadium, supporting me, encouraging me and applauding me. I think I've scored some great goals; I've got a nice gallery with these 201 goals. Last week, it was a great day at the office, but tonight was very special. Every footballer plays to leave their name and their mark on footballing history so that they don't get forgotten. I think that with this record, I'll be remembered here."

ON GETTING ANOTHER WIN

"It's a good moment for me, but for the team, the good moment is the three straight wins after our defeat to Bayern. I'm happy, but the main thing is that the team got its head straight again. We're ready to take on the challenge that awaits us on Wednesday in Munich."

ON THE SECOND LEG AGAINST Bayern Munich

"The aim is clear; we want to go there to get through. We've got a lot of confidence but also humility because we're going to be playing against a big team. We always want to win games, and we'll go to Munich to get through and come back happy. We'll go there with a clear aim."

ON HIS PERSONAL AIMS

"The Ballon d'Or is always an aim. For a player like me, it's something that's in your sights, but it's not a priority at the moment. It stays in the back of my mind, which is normal. If I keep going like this, I don't think I'll be very far off it."
