Kylian Mbappé and Marie-Antoinette Katoto kick off the Classique!

The two goalgetters talk to PSG TV as they both prepare to face Olympique de Marseille teams this weekend.

Kylian, Marie, there are two Classiques coming up on Sunday. In spite of your youth, what memories do you have of these games?
Kylian Mbappé: "For me, Ronaldinho, Pauleta and Ibrahimovic have left their mark on Classiques. Ibra, he scored quite a few goals! We're young, so we remember those three players. If you talk to me about the Classique, I think about them."
Marie-Antoinette Katoto: "It's the same for me. Those three were exceptional. I remember Pauleta's legendary goal, when he turns and lobs Barthez at the Parc des Princes. It was exceptional!"

You have also left your mark on these games…
KM: "Positively and negatively for me! Everyone remembers the first game last season. I was a substitute. I was late, and I paid for it. I had done something silly. I came off the bench when it was 0-0 and I managed to score the first goal and had a hand in the second. You could say I was half-forgiven!"

Marie, during the last Classique with Marseille, you were losing 2-0 at half-time before coming through to win 5-2…
MAK: "At half-time, the coach laid into us. We thought of the fans. If we had come back to Paris with a defeat, they would have been very disappointed. We equalised in the second half and then went on to win 5-2. We did the business. When we came back, we got a great reception from the fans. It was 11:00pm, but there were flares at the Gare de Lyon. It was great!"
KM: "The fans are really looking forward to this match, it's important for them. Yes, you feel it. We heard them singing about it after the game against Bruges, they were already preparing for the Classique. It's important for them. We'll do our utmost to try to make them happy. We're at home, the pitch will be good, a full stadium, so everything will be in place to play well. We have to be ready from the first minute."

What do you wish each other this weekend?
MAK: "Firstly, a win. I hope he's going to play, even though he's coming back from injury, I think he's ready. No problem in that regard. I would also like him to score! He did it during the last two games with Marseille. I hope he'll score more...two hat-tricks in a week would be good, wouldn't it?"
KM: "A victory, of course. Also you're top of the table after Lyon's draw, so to keep first place...and keep scoring. She scored a brace during the derby. If she scores against Marseille too, everyone will be delighted. That's what I wish for her."
