Keylor Navas: 'Our mentality mustn't change'

The Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper wants his teammates to go into Wednesday's UEFA Champions League second leg against Barcelona with their habitual determination.

TEAM SPIRIT

"We're all motivated, focussed on the match. We're determined to give our all in this game and play as well as possible. All the players are motivated, it's the kind of game we love to win. That's what counts. We have to be confident and put in maximum effort to avoid being in a situation that could be to their advantage. That's the most important thing for us."

THE 1ST LEG

"Nothing has changed anything for us since the first leg. We respect Barcelona and that doesn't change. There's not been the slightest moment where we thought we were superior to Barcelona. Our mentality mustn't change. We have to be totally focussed, give 100% in every aspect and try to win. For us, it's clear that we have to win this game to go through to the next round and we have to go onto the pitch with the same desire as the first leg. Maybe even more. We've prepared for this game, to attack and defend. We feel ready to put in a good performance."

BARCELONA

"We're ready for the game. We played very well in the first leg and we know we'll have to put in the same sort of effort. We can't do anything less. We have a great team, and we're up against a great opponent, but we know we can win. We want to win, and to do that, we have to attack. That's important for us. That's our mentality. We're playing at home. We all want to play this game and do our best to win. We're focussed on that objective. I'm very happy to have this opportunity to play. It's a privilege to play a Champions League game. Playing against Barcelona is a source of motivation for any player."
