Kévin Rimane loaned to NK Istra 1961

The defender who can also play in midfield will be on loan to the Croatian club until 30 June 2019. This agreement with the Pula-based club in Croatia’s top flight does not include a purchase option.

The 27-year-old from Cayenne, French Guyana joined the club in 2008, winning the French championship two years later with the U19 team. At senior level Kevin Rimane won two Ligue 1 titles (2016, 2018) and one Coupe de France (2016) where he was on the teamsheet for the 4-2 victory in the final against Olympique Marseille. During this time he has also maintained his status as a pillar of Paris Saint-Germain’s reserve team since his return to the club in 2014 after three seasons at Boulogne-sur-Mer.

Kévin was a first-team starter in the victory over Monaco in Shenzhen (China) on 4 August 2018, adding the Champions Trophy to his medal collection. Earlier, at the beginning of July, he extended his contract with the Rouge et Bleu until 30 June 2020.

The club wishes Kévin all the best in his Croatian challenge.
