Julian Draxler: 'A trophy we want to win'

The Germany international is ready to face Monaco for silverware in Wednesday's Coupe de France final.

Julian, how are you approaching this Coupe de France final?
"They've progressed a lot under Niko Kovac. There is a certain German inspiration behind this team, notably Kevin Volland, who I know very well. He's having a very good season there. It'll be difficult. A final is always tough. We're well prepared, and it's a trophy we want to win."

It's a top-of-the-bill game against opponents who have posed problems this season...
"The fact we've lost two games to them this season is also in our thinking a little bit. A final, it's a game you must win. We can't think about these recent league games against them. Of course, we weren't happy after those defeats, but we're focussing on the final."

How's the squad feeling before the final?
"We're very motivated, very well prepared. We have faith in our qualities, and we'll play to win. There's a trophy to be won, and it's very important for us."
