Jesus Perez : 'It was a very tough game'

Mauricio Pochettino's assistant Jesus Perez and Leandro Paredes spoke to PSGTV about the victory against Angers this Saturday night in matchday 20 of Ligue 1.

JESUS PEREZ

“It was a very tough game for us, it was a real battle. Angers are a very well organised team and they's also already shown their talent. Because of where they are in the league, we knew it would be a tough game. The coach’s absence? Of course it was a bizarre situation. We were without Mauricio for the first time. We had to adapt our tactics during the game without him. Luckily we were permanently in contact with him via telephone and we managed to control the game.”

LEANDRO PAREDES

"We knew it would be difficult facing a tough opponent. Angers don't leave many spaces. But we managed to get the win. We're happy because we had to win to put pressure on Lyon who play tomorrow. We wanted to go first and we did what we needed to do that. The victory is here now so we're satisfied."
