Senegal, featuring Parisians Abdou Diallo and Idrissa Gueye defeated Cape Verdi 2-0 in a friendly in Dakar.
Coach of the Teranga Lions, Aliou Cissé, named both Paris Saint-Germain stars in his starting XI. Abdou Diallo, started in a holding midfield role while Idrissa Gueye, playing slightly higher up the pitch, opened the scoring in the 55th minute, with a wonderful free-kick.
