Final test passed with flying colours against Celtic!

After big wins over Le Havre (9-0) and Waasland-Beveren (7-0), Les Parisiens were back at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday. This time, Thomas Tuchel's men were taking on Celtic FC for their third friendly game. The German coach started his side in a 4-4-2 formation with Idrissa Gueye and Leo Paredes behind an attacking four of Neymar Jr, Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappé and Mauro Icardi.

Les Rouge et Bleu were on top from the outset and ahead on the scoreboard after just 52 seconds, as Neymar Jr released Kylian Mbappé with a great through ball and the World Cup winner coolly blasted home at the near post (1-0, 1').

The visitors Celtic also had their chances but the central defensive duo of Marquinhos and Thiago Silva were watchful. From a corner routine, Olivier Ntcham saw his volley blocked (14').

As the intensity dropped, Neymar Jr extended the lead from Thilo Kehrer's cut back (2-0, 25'), netting his fourth goal in three friendlies.

Les Parisiens finished the first half on top, and the coach proceded to make 11 changes at half time. Presnel Kimpembe inherited the captain's armband.

And just as it was in the first half, Paris were quickly onto the front foot and Ander Herrera added goal number three just two minutes after the restart, latching onto Layvin Kurzawa's cross (3-0, 48').

Les Parisiens kept the pressure on and Pablo Sarabia ran onto a Marco Verratti ball, chipped into the area, and volleyed home across the face of goal (4-0, 67'). Sergio Rico, who replaced Navas in goal, made a great save to secure another clean sheet in denying Forrest (72').

It finished 4-0 and Paris now head into Friday's Coupe de France final against Saint-Etienne on the back of three wins, 20 goals scored and none conceded.
