Herrera: 'I've settled perfectly'

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera spoke to the media at the press conference ahead of Saturday's match against Strasbourg in Week 5 of the Ligue 1 season:

INJURY

"I'm ready to play. I have trained with the team this week. I feel good. I'm very happy to be back because it's never nice to be injured an unable to play for a player. I'm delighted that Paris Saint-Germain gave me the opportunity to play in one of the best teams in the world. And I will be very happy to play on Saturday. It will be the coach's decision, but I am ready and I would be happy to play. It's just great to be back with the team. I have settled in perfectly. Having so many Spanish teammates and Spanish speakers is also made things easier. But what happens on the pitch is the most important thing. I want to play as soon as possible... as much as possible! Playing for Paris Saint-Germain is a great opportunity for me."

STRASBOURG

"I don't think there's any such thing as an easy opponent. Ligue 1 gets better every year. For me, the next match is always the most important one. We can't think about Real Madrid, about Lyon or winning titles... We have to think about the next match in order to be at our best and have a great season. Strasbourg are a strong side and they will give it everything. We have to respect this side. We didn't beat them in the league last year. We have another chance on Saturday. We respect them and want to win to best prepare the next match."

KEYLOR NAVAS AND NEYMAR JR

"Keylor has had an incredible career. Everyone knows about him and he has won nearly everything. We all know what a great 'keeper he is. But what really impresses me is how hard he pushes himself to keep improving every day. He improved every season at Real Madrid. Every year he was No.1, despite the competition. He's a real professional. He loves the sport and his job. We share that vision of sport and he's a real example. I am also delighted to be able to play with Neymar. For me, I think he's one of the top 5 players in the world. To play with players that can win the Ballon d’Or, like Kylian Mbappé or Neymar or Marco Verratti, who has everything to be the best midfielder in the world, it's just incredible. I will try to do everything to help them."
