Gonçalo Guedes transferred to Valencia CF
Paris Saint-Germain and Valencia Club de Futbol finalised the transfer of Gonçalo Guedes on Thursday. The Portugal international (14 caps, 3 goals) makes a permanent move after spending the 2017/18 season on loan at the Spanish club.
Gonçalo Guedes scored six goals and provided 11 assists in 38 matches in all competitions with the Spanish club, which finished the Liga season in fourth place and qualified for the 2018-19 Champions League.
The Benfica youth product, 21, joined Paris Saint-Germain in January 2017. He made 13 appearances for the Rouge-et-Bleu in all competitions, winning the Ligue 1 championship (2018), the Coupe de France (2017) and the Trophée des champions (2017).
Last June, Gonçalo represented Portugal at the World Cup in Russia, making four appearances and three starts, including the Last 16 tie that saw Portugal beaten by Uruguay.
