First training session for Luis Enrique and Lee Kang-In

Earlier today, Les Rouge et Bleu continued their pre-season preparations at PSG Campus. Following Monday’s fitness tests, Les Parisiens today took part in the first group training session led by Luis Enrique.

LUIS ENRIQUE TAKES THE HELM

The new Paris Saint-Germain manager took charge of his first group training session at PSG Campus today.

In his introductory press conference, Enrique revealed his excitement at the idea of meeting his new team: "The players and I will soon get the chance to meet each other. I want to see how they train, how they behave. As the manager, my job will be to get the best out of them individually and collectively. We're going to work hand in hand with each other."

Having completed the usual fitness tests, Les Parisiens could then begin to familiarise themselves with the new pitches and get a feel for the ball again.

LEE KANG-IN'S FIRST SESSION

Having officially become a Paris Saint-Germain player on Saturday, the South Korean attacking midfielder got the chance to see PSG Campus for himself and to meet his new teammates. This marked the start of a new adventure that Kang-In had been eager to take part in, as he admitted in his first interview with the club: "I'm really happy to be joining Paris Saint-Germain. I think I can develop here alongside the best players in the world and help the team. I can't wait!"

He joins two other summer signings, Manuel Ugarte and Lucas Hernandez, who took their first steps around PSG Campus on Monday. As a reminder, the players who took part in June's international matches will return to training on Monday 17th July, when Les Parisiens will be reunited with each other as they prepare for their first pre-season friendly against Le Havre AC on Friday 21st July at 17:00 CET – a game that you can follow on PSG.TV Premium – before heading to Japan the following day for another summer tour.
