Everything you need to know: Girondins de Bordeaux - Paris Saint-Germain

All the stats and info you need to get up to speed before this weekend's Ligue 1 fixture.

A little history...

Paris Saint-Germain - Bordeaux, it's a Rouge-et-Bleu classic. Paris have met Bordeaux more times than any other team (104), with Monaco (101 matches) and Lyon (97 matches).

The capital club has the upper hand, but only just: 41 wins, 24 draws and 39 defeats. Paris Saint-Germain are unbeaten in their last nine competitive meetings with Les Girondins (6 wins, 3 draws), and have not lost against them since 15 March 2015 (a 3-2 loss at Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas).

The Parisians are unbeaten at the Stade Matmut Altlantique, opened on 18 May 2015: four wins and two draws in six visits, counting the Coupe de la Ligue win against Monaco (3-0) on 31 March, 2018.

Thirty players have featured for both teams: Yacine Adli, Claude Arribas, William Ayache, Ali Benarbia, Clément Chantôme, Christian, Patrick Colleter, Stéphane Dalmat, Vikash Dhorasoo, Kaba Diawara, Raymond Domenech, Laurent Fournier, Guillaume Hoarau, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Jean-Louis Leonetti, Laurent Leroy, Peter Luccin, Patrice Marquet, Jérémy Menez, Roland Mitoraj, Bernard Pardo, Pedro Miguel Pauleta, Mauricio Pochettino, Philippe Redon, Alain Roche, Jean-Louis Rostagni, Younousse Sankharé, Toko, Jean-Pierre Tokoto and Zlatko Vujovic. Youssouf Sabaly, who did not play for the Paris Saint-Germain first team, is not included in this list.

Edinson Cavani has scored 11 goals against Bordeaux. Pedro Miguel Pauleta (7 goals), Mustapha Dahleb and Dominique Rocheteau (5 goals) come next.

The stakes..

The Parisians will be looking to make amends for Wednesday's defeat to Reims (0-2), which ended a run of 62 successive matches scoring since their goalless draw against Caen on 19 May, 2018.

The Rouge-et-Bleu will be looking for their third successive away win after those in Metz and Lyon. It's a run they have not achieved since racking up four straight wins against Saint-Étienne (1-0), Caen (2-1), Dijon (4-0) and Toulouse (1-0) last season.

The keys to the match...

Paris Saint-Germain have lost two league games in a row just once since 2011: against Nancy in Paris (0-1 on 20/11/2011) and at (0-3) seven days later. It was their last defeat to Marseille, eight years ago.
