A little bit of history...

It's the 75th competitive game between the two sides and the Parisians have the best of it with 31 wins, 21 draws and 22 defeats.

Paris Saint-Germain are on a run of six games without a loss (five wins and a draw) against Nice since the defeat on April 30 2017 (1-3) and haven't been beaten by OGCN at the Parc des Princes since November 7 2009 (0-1 in the league) a run of nine games unbeaten (six wins and 3 draws). 

It was during Paris Saint-Germain - Nice that the Parc des Princes had it's one and only power outage on January 18 1986. For 15 minutes half of the projectors turned off but the referee decided that the game should continue in the semi-darkness...  The club from the capital managed to win 3-2 and the lights eventually turned back on at the end of the game...

Nice is the only side to have won three times at the Parc des Princes by three goals difference: October 1st 1977 (3-0 victory, league), February 28 1987 (3-0 victory, league) and April 20 1988 (4-0 victory, league in the club's biggest ever league defeat at home).

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Paris Saint-Germain's top scorer against Nice in competitive games with 11 goals. The Swede is ahead of Edinson Cavani and François M’Pelé (6 buts), and Patrice Loko (5 buts).

It's an important three points for the Parisians to stay in the top three at the top of the league table and be able to prepare for their trip to Barcelona in the Round of 16 first leg of the UEFA Champions League.

Paris have won their last five home matches, keeping five clean sheets in the process - the best run performance in this department since keeping six consecutive Ligue 1 clean sheets between September and November 2016.

With 55 goals scored in 24 games played Paris Saint-Germain have scored the most goals in the league ahead of  Lyon and Monaco (50 goals).

The games between Paris and Nice are often high scoring at the Parc des Princes with an incredible 2,94 goals per game on average (103 goals in 35 games). The fans at the Parc have seen at least three goals in this encounter on 23 occasions (66%).

The Parisian goalscorers also enjoy playing Nice and are on a run of 16 games in a row with at least one goal scored by the Rouge et Bleu, since the 0-0 at Nice on February 12 2012 and have scored 116 goals overall in competitive games against the Aiglons.
