Essende signs first pro contract

Paris Saint-Germain is happy to announce that Samuel Essende has signed his first professional contract and is now tied to the capital club until 30 June 2021.

Samuel, 20, hails from Montfermeil (Seine-Saint-Denis) and won the 2015-16 France U19 championship with Paris Saint-Germain. He played a key role in that success, making 22 appearances and finishing club top scorer with 12 goals. Samuel also took part in the UEFA Youth League campaign that same season, that saw Les Parisiens reach the final. The next season in the European U19 competition, he scored four goals in six matches.

Samuel Essende joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy in 2010, and has made several appearances for the Paris Saint-Germain reserve team in the National 2 division.

The club wishes Samuel a long and successful professional career in Rouge et Bleu.
