Éric-Maxim Choupo-Moting: 'Very happy to be in Doha'

Éric-Maxim, you've played in Germany, England and France...and now here you are in Doha!
"It's great! A little bit of sunshine really does you good. I need it and in Paris right now - even though it's a really beautiful city - there's not too much of it! I'm very happy to be here in Doha for a few days. Spending time with the people here is very important. I'm very happy, it's like being at home! It gives the fans here a chance to see us, and that's good."

Do you know the schedule for these few days in Qatar?
"Yes, but I'm especially looking forward to the camel race! I don't know the whole schedule, but I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be great. But we're also here to work. It's a very important period, because there are going to be Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Champions League matches to play in a short space of time. So we can't slacken off. We have started very well with a great first half to the season, but we have to keep going."

Speaking of which, what do you expect from the second half of the season?
"I expected to win a lot of games, because there is a lot of quality in this team, but not to establish a new record for wins! Winning every game must be our goal, even if it's not easy. I think we've done some very good work up to now, but we have to keep going. It's not over yet. We're Paris Saint-Germain. I think we're the best team in France, and we want to become a great team in Europe."
