Draxler: 'We are ready'
Ahead of Tuesday's first leg UEFA Champions League last-16 tie away to Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler spoke to the media at the traditional pre-match press conference:
MIDFIELD
"We know that United have great players in midfield, with Pogba and Matic… it will be a key battle for the game. But we have quality players too and we’ll speak with the coach and we have players that can play in midfielder. We expect Manchester United to play like they have played the last few games and attack. But we also have a match to play tomorrow. I think it will be all or nothing… there will be some tactical play…"
ABSENTEES
I sent Cavani a message just after the match, but we are all disappointed that he and Neymar and Meunier will be missing. But we can’t talk about those players that are missing. We have players capable of doing the job and that’s what we’ll try and do. We have been waiting for this match, and now it's here we can’t wait for kick off. We are going to eat well and sleep well and give everything tomorrow.
POSITION
"I haven’t spoken with the coach yet and I don’t know if I will play or which position. I can play No.8, No.10, even No.6. But I’m not Neymar, but I can play that position and perhaps we’ll see after the game."
