Draxler: 'As happy today as the first day!
Paris Saint-Germain Julian Draxler spoke to PSG TV about his first two years in the French capital before looking ahead to Sunday's huge Ligue 1 clash against third-placed Lyon, at 21:00 CET.
Julian, Sunday's match against Lyon could be your 100th appearance for Paris Saint-Germain…
"Yes, that's a very special number for me. Time goes very quickly... I signed for Paris just two years ago. I am as happy today as the day I arrived! Sunday will be a big match. The fact that it could be my 100th for Paris just makes it all the more exciting."

Since joinig the club, you have scored 19 goals and provided 18 assists. Are you satisfied?
"I think I can do better. But when Neymar and Kylian arrived, I have been playing more and more in midfield, even in front of the defence in recent matches. I'm not a goal scoring machine like them or Edinson Cavani. But since I've been here, I have progressed over the two years, especially since the coach Thomas Tuchel came to the club. Like I said, I'm very happy."
Tell us your three best goals for Paris...
"For me, the most important was against Barcelona here at the Parc des Princes. I think the most beautiful was against Bordeaux at home - the volley with the left foot, from Kylian's cross. And I also have very good memories of my first goal here at the Parc des Princes, against Bastia, and a little chip over the 'keeper."

How is the team approaching the match against Lyon?
"Playing there is never easy. Lyon have a very good team, still qualified in the Champions League. They have good players and they like to play good football. I think out team is stronger and we want to prove it on Sunday. And that way we continue our undefeated campaign."
What do you remember from the 5-0 win in the first game?
"At the final whistle, the score was a clear win. But if you watch the match, it was very close. Les Lyonnais played very well - but it was a magic night for Kylian Mbappé who scored four goals in 13 minutes. Everyone said that it was an easy win for us, but it really wasn't. I'm expecting another tough match on Sunday."
