Djeidi Gassama signs his first professional contract
Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce that 16-year-old Djeidi Gassama has signed a three-year professional contract with the club until 30 June 2023.
Djeidi was born in Niélaba in Mauritania on 10 September 2003, and took his first steps in football at FC Mantois in the Paris suburb of Mantes-la-Ville.
The young winger joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy in 2019 from Stade Brestois, and this season played a key role in the club’s U17 campaign, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists in his 20 matches in the championship. Paris Saint-Germain's U17 side were at the top of Group A with an 8-point lead over second-placed Lens when the season was halted on Matchday 20.
The club congratulates Djeidi on his first professional contract and wishes him a successful career in the Paris Saint-Germain jersey.
