Debuts for Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes and Bitumazala
Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes and Nathan Bitumazala have made their debuts in competitive games for Paris Saint-Germain in matchday 5 of Ligue 1 in the 4-0 victory over Clermont, this Saturday 11 September at the Parc des Princes.
In the starting eleven against the Auvergnats, the European Champion became the 8th Italian to have worn the Rouge et Bleu shirt after Gianluigi Buffon, Alessandro Florenzi, Moise Kean, Marco Simone, Salvatore Sirigu, Thiago Motta and Marco Verratti.
Having come on in the 85th minute, the club from the capital's new number 25 has become the 13th Portuguese player to play for Paris Saint-Germain after Joaquim Agostinho, João Alves, Fernando Cruz, Danilo Pereira, Gonçalo Guedes, Helder, Helder Marino, Hugo Leal, Humberto Coelho, Daniel Kenedy, Pedro Miguel Pauleta and Felipe Teixeira.
Fontainebleau-born Nathan Bitumazala, an 18-year-old right-back who has been playing for the capital club's youth teams since 2015, also came on late in the game. The three players thus became the 477th, 478th and 479th players in Paris Saint-Germain history.
