Dagba: 'Very proud'

Paris Saint-Germain's young French defender Colin Dagba has extended his contract through to 2024. After joining the club in 2016, Colin looked back at an early season hampered by injury and ahead to the current campaign.

What's you first reaction after extending your Paris Saint-Germain contract through to 2024?
I am very proud to be extending with Paris Saint-Germain, which is a very big club. It's a very good day for everyone, especially my family. And I hope it's just the next step for my career with Paris Saint-Germain, I'm very happy and I hope it continues for as long as possible."

How is your hamstring injury?
I injured myself three weeks ago, but its getting better. I'm still receiving treatment, but I'm already back on the pitch with a fitness coach. If all goes well, I hope to be back soon. The international break will also be the chance to work on my return. I hope that I'll be right for the rest of the season and be able to show what I can do on the pitch.

What are your goals for this season?
On a personal level, it's always the same: play as much as possible, to try and show all my quality on the pitch. When the coach calls on me, I will try and give 200%.
