Colin Dagba joins AJ Auxerre on loan

Having moved to Paris Saint-Germain back in 2016, Colin Dagba has now joined AJ Auxerre on loan for the 2023–2024 season.

After enjoying spells at RC Lens and US Boulogne CO, Colin Dagba arrived in Paris seven years ago, with the right-back initially featuring for Les Rouge et Bleu’s U19s.

Having signed his first professional contract in July 2017, the player born in Béthune, northern France, made his first-team debut against Monaco in the 2018 Trophée des Champions.

By the end of the 2021–2022 season, Dagba had racked up 77 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain (including seven in the UEFA Champions League), scoring one goal and notching up six assists in that time. In his time with the capital club, the 24-year-old has won three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupes de France, two Trophées des Champions and one Coupe de la Ligue.

Last season, the former France U21 defender (who earned 16 caps and scored one goal for Les Bleuets) plied his trade on loan at RC Strasbourg, featuring 21 times in Ligue 1 with the Alsatian side.

Paris Saint-Germain would like to wish Colin all the best for the season ahead with AJ Auxerre.
