Christophe Galtier: "I have a great squad"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier spoke at the press conference on the eve of the Ligue 1 matchday 5 game between Paris Saint-Germain and Toulouse FC.

Toulouse

"This Toulouse team had an incredible run in Ligue 2 last year. They broke all the records. The Stadium will be full, Paris Saint-Germain are travelling, so our opponents are bound to be highly motivated. We are prepared for that. We worked this morning on different options. The team must be versatile."

fitness levelsĀ

"We are at the beginning of a run of fixtures so in terms of freshness there is nothing to worry about. There is what we predict and then the reality of the matches, the performances, the bad performances. I try to look ahead to the next three matches. You need to look at the reality of the match as it happens, the consequences of a match in terms of results and psychology. There are many factors to take into account."

the team

"Kimpembe and Sarabia will be unavailable for tomorrow's game. I hope to have them back for Saturday's game. I have a great squad, there won't be any major rotation but we will inject fresh blood because from now on we play every three days. We have to be careful not to lose any players and also to get everyone involved. There will obviously be changes in the starting eleven compared to the group that started against Monaco."

the transfer window

"There is just over 48 hours to go before the transfer market closes. We have been targeting the areas we want to strengthen for a long time. Some of our players have been targeted as well. Keylor Navas is a Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper and will be in the squad tomorrow, the same goes for Abdou Diallo. Leandro Paredes is in a different case because he has found an agreement with another club. He is a Paris player but I made the choice not to put him in the group for the trip to Toulouse because he could leave the club soon."

Hugo Ekitike

"It's a good sign that Hugo is hungry to play. He isn't annoyed, he just wants to play. We believe in him, in his potential and he won't just get 'a bit of game time' he'll get some serious game time."
