Check out what Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting had to say after signing a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Eric Maxim, first off, what do we call you?
"Maxim, but my nickname is 'Choupo', either works for me."

What does it mean to you to join Paris Saint-Germain?
"It's like a dream for me to join one of the biggest clubs in the world. I'm very proud to be here and be part of this squad of great players. And also in this city. I already know some of the players, notably the Germans. I can already speak French, which is going to help me settle in. I'm very motivated to show what I can do. It's a great joy for me to be able to take advantage of this opportunity."

How did Paris contact you?
"It was the coach, Thomas Tuchel, who contacted me to see what my situation was. I immediately liked the idea of joining Paris. I had worked with Thomas Tuchel while we were at Mainz and I had always dreamed of doing so again. He's one of the best coaches in the world, a perfectionist who loves football and knows how to make his teams improve. I'm proud and happy to be reunited with him here in Paris."

What sort of player are you?
"I'm a player who can play with the ball. I'm flexible. I can play on the wing or through the middle. I love playing football. I have to work a lot and I'm going to do all I can to establish myself here."

What do you know about Ligue 1?
"It's a difficult league. I regularly watch Ligue 1 games. I have a lot of friends in the league, especially my international teammates. Paris is the biggest French team, and all the others give their maximum to beat them. With the team we have, we can do some great things."

What are your goals with Paris Saint-Germain?
"I want to settle in as quickly as possible to be able to play as many games as possible. I want to show my qualities. Paris wants to win everything. We have the qualities to have a great season."

Do you have a message for your new fans?
"I'm very proud to be Parisian and I'm going to give my all for the club to have as much success as possible."
