Buffon: ‘Very happy to be here’
At his official presentation, Paris Saint-Germain’s new goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon spoke to the media about his new club.

“It was a huge surprise. I have to admit I already had other ideas for my future, but I always hoped something would come up for my future. I still feel deep inside that I have something more to give. And that’s what happened. Sometimes life can be unpredictable.”

“Obviously I’m 40 years old, but I am in good health and I’m mentally strong. Everyone will try to have an important role in the squad. I will try to show that I am still a good goalkeeper. I want to keep playing until my body can’t keep going. When that’s the case, I’ll stop. When I started at Juventus, I wanted to fit in and succeed. I have joined Paris with a child’s enthusiasm.”
