Barcola: 'Play with great intensity'

Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola spoke at the press conference ahead of the UEFA Champions League last-16 second leg clash against Real Sociedad, this Tuesday 5 March at 21:00 CET at the La Reala Arena.

His place within the squad

"I have joined a very big club, so adapting to the speed was difficult at first, but I give my all in every game. What I like about Luis Enrique is that I have the freedom to attack as I want. I was really happy to score that important goal in the first leg. I hope I can keep that momentum going."

HIS POSITIONING

"It's true that at my old club I played more on the right, but now I'm more comfortable on the left. I'd like to learn to play in all the attacking positions, I played a lot as a centre forward during my youth football, but today I feel that it's on the left wing that I'm making the most of my abilities."

THE RETURN MATCH

"We are not nervous about this match. We're here to win, and we're going to play as if it were still 0-0. We know what we have to do. The key will be to play with great intensity, to attack together but also defend together. I think that's what we have to do if we want to win this match. We're all working hard as a team to be better away from home. As I said, we're here to win. We know it's going to be a difficult game, but we've prepared well."

HIS trio WITH dembélé AND mbappé

"Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé were players I watched when I was younger. I draw inspiration from them and it's good to train with them on a daily basis. I'm very happy to be playing with great players like them."

THE france NATIONAL TEAM?

"I'm happy with how I'm performing today, after an initial period of adjustment. Making the France team will all depend on my performances, so I'm trying to be the best I can on the pitch, and if that's going to happen, what will be will be."
