Bradley Barcola : "I'm really happy because I was waiting for that goal"

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Bradley Barcola spoke to PSG TV, after Matchday 15 of Ligue 1 against FC Nantes (2-1).

LUIS ENRIQUE

"As always, victory is the most important thing. We tried to score in the first minute. I think we were better in the first half, even though it was difficult, because all 11 opposition players were behind the ball, close to their goal and that's always difficult. But I think in the first half we had control of the game and created a few chances, notably in the first minute, to take the lead.

In the second half, we struggled even more and when they equalised, they even had a few chances as a result of mistakes we made. But generally speaking, it's the kind of match that's typical of games we've played before. It's a game that conditions you, and fortunately we managed to get through it."

Bradley Barcola

"It was important to win, especially with the game we have coming up. We really wanted to win this game. It was a bit complicated, but we managed to score those two goals. We're happy, we wanted the win and we got it. Personally, I'm really happy because I was waiting for that goal. I'm really proud to have scored it, even more so here at the Parc, it's great.

When I received the ball, I heard Vitinha suggest a one-two, so I gave it to him and he gave it back to me. After that, I took off and managed to score. We really wanted to build up our confidence before the Dortmund game. We know we've got our destiny in our hands, so we're going to go there with our heads held high and we know what we have to do."
