Bernat: 'Finish the year in the best possible way'
Paris Saint-Germain defender Juan Bernat spoke to the press on Friday ahead of the final league match of 2019 at home to Amiens.
HOLIDAYS
"We have a match before the holidays! My suitcase isn't ready! But we do want to finish the year on a positive note."
2019 REVIEW
"I am very happy here in Paris, and delighted to play for Paris Saint-Germain. Everything has gone very well. I think I can still improve. I will keep working hard to reach my objectives. At Bayern, I had a few problems after my ankle surgery. They lasted a year, but that's all finished now and everything is fine and I hope it continues."
FIXTURES
"There are a lot of matches. That's the way the competitions are run these days. It's the same in every league. Here there are two Cup comps, but they are only one-off matches. You have to be mentally and physically prepared for each and every match."
TACTICS
"We have a team that can play with the ball, or without the ball, that can counterattack. We have very fast attackers, some of the best in the world. We need to keep improving in terms of consistency, across all matches, no matterthe competition. That's what the coach wants."
DORTMUND
"They are a great team, very dangerous, very aggressive with great strikers. They have shown how good they are in the Bundesliga and also in the group stage of the Champions League. There are some great matches in next round and some big teams will eliminated. But you have to beat everyone if you want to go all the way in the Champions League. That's what we want."
