Ayman Kari joins Lorient on loan
Ayman Kari has joined FC Lorient until the end of the 2022-23 season. The loan deal comes with a one-season extension option.
Born in the Paris suburb of Ivry-sur-Seine, Ayman Kari joined Paris Saint-Germain’s pre-training centre at the age of 11. The midfielder then joined the club’s academy, where he initially proved himself with the U17s before becoming an established starter with the U19s.
Under Zoumana Camara, Kari made 25 appearances in the league, seven in the UEFA Youth League and three in the Coupe Gambardella during the 2021-22 season. The association Les Titis du PSG crowned the France U19 international as their 2021 Titi d’Or, an award for the academy’s player of the year.
Having come into the ‘Elite’ group at the start of this season, the 18-year-old has regularly trained with the first team, as well as helping Les Rouge et Bleu’s U19s get to the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League with his three assists in five games.
Paris Saint-Germain would like to wish Ayman the best of luck for the rest of his season with FC Lorient.
