Arthur Zagre signs first professional contract

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce that Arthur Zagre has signed his first professional contract with the club. The defender is now tied to the capital club until 30 June 2021.

The 16-year-old from Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine) won the U17 national championship with Paris Saint-Germain in 2017. In January 2018, won the Al Kass International Cup in Doha with the side coached by Laurent Huard. In 2017-18, he played with the club's U19 side, making five appearances in the UEFA Youth League. Since the start of the current campaign, Arthur has been playing with the Paris Saint-Germain reserves in National 2.

Arthur joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy in 2013, after first playing for Courbevoie Sports Football in the Paris region. In 2018 he took part in Paris Saint-Germain's Asia Summer Tour in Singapore where he played against Arsenal and Atlético de Madrid in the International Champions Cup.

In early September, Arthur will joined the France U19 squad for a series of friendly matches to prepare the side for the Euro 2019 qualifiers that will take place in Armenia. He earned his first youth international cap during this period. The club wishes Arthur a long and successful career in Rouge et Bleu.
