Arthur Zagre joins AS Monaco

Paris Saint-Germain defender Arthur Zagre moves to AS Monaco on a permanent transfer.

The 17-year-old from the Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine joined Paris Saint-Germain’s Youth Academy in 2013, winning the U17 French title in 2016-2017. In January 2018 the young left-back also won the Al-Kass International Cup in Doha, still under the stewardship of coach Laurent Huard. With the U19s in the 2017-2018 season Arthur made 5 appearances in the UEFA Youth League and U19 French Championship.

On 3 August this year, Arthur made the teamsheet for the Trophée des Champions victory over Rennes, winning his first senior honour for the club. The defender finally made his Ligue 1 debut for the Rouge & Bleu last Sunday, coming on as a substitute against Toulouse at the Parc des Princes.

Zagre has also been capped 7 times by France at U19 level.

The Club thanks Arthur for his dedication throughout his time at Paris Saint-Germain and wishes him all the best for the rest of his professional career.
