Arnaud Kalimuendo joins Stade Rennais

Arnaud Kalimuendo has joined Stade Rennais on a permanent deal.

Born in the Parisian suburb of Suresnes, he joined the Paris Saint-Germain pre-Youth Academy aged 9. As he rose through the ranks, he won the Al-Kass Cup with the U17 team and then moved up to the U19 side, with whom he impressed in the Youth League (9 goals in 10 matches).

He made his first-team debut against RC Lens in Ligue 1 on 10 September 2020, before then joining the northern French club on loan over two successive seasons, scoring 21 times in 65 games.

Between those two campaigns in Lens, the forward featured in two Ligue 1 matches with Paris Saint-Germain, earning himself a 2021/22 Ligue 1 winner’s medal. He also won the 2022 Trophée des Champions with the Rouge et Bleu against FC Nantes (4-0).

After playing for France’s U16 (3 matches, 1 goal) and U18 (12 matches, 9 goals) teams, he was called up to the U21 squad and made his debut against Slovakia on 12 October 2020. He now has four goals in 12 games for Les Bleuets.

Paris Saint-Germain would like to wish Arnaud all the very best at Stade Rennais.
