Arnau Tenas joins Paris Saint-Germain on three-year deal

Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the signing of Arnau Tenas. The 22-year-old goalkeeper has committed himself to the club until 2026.

Born in Vic in the province of Barcelona, Spain, on 30th May 2001, Tenas began his youth career at FC Barcelona in 2010. The promising young keeper rose through the ranks and eventually established himself as a key player for Barça's reserves, even captaining the side last season. From the 2020–2021 season onwards, he found himself regularly being called up to the club's first team.

Tenas has also shone with his country's youth teams, having been Spain's number-one choice in goal during their UEFA Under-19 EURO triumph in 2019, which notably saw them knock out France on penalties in the semi-finals. He also took part in the 2023 UEFA Under-21 EURO, reaching the final with his side but eventually losing 1-0 to England.

"I'm very happy to be joining this great club and to be part of the PSG goalkeeping family, said Arnau Tenas. Some very good keepers have marked the history of Paris Saint-Germain. Of course, I also have a big thought for Sergio Rico."
