Are you ready for Paris Saint-Germain vs. Liverpool?

It's a few hours before kick-off in the big match of the UEFA Champions League Group C between Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool at the Parc des Princes, here's everything you need to know about the tie.

THE MATCH

Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool have met only three times in the last 48 years, first meeting in the semi-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 1996-1997 season, a game the Parisians 3-0:

In the return clash, the French side managed to hold onto their first-leg advantage despite going down 0-2 at Anfield. Most recently, the Rouge et Bleu met the English giants in Liverpool where they were unfortunate to leave empty handed after a late reds winner awarded a 3-2 victory to Jürgen Klopp's men.

At the Parc des Princes, the Parisians have never experienced defeat in group matches since the return of the Rouge et Bleu in the Champions League back in 2012. Their current record stands at 15 wins and 5 draws for 20 home games.

The club will play in Paris its 9th European match against an English club (four meetings with Chelsea, two against Arsenal and a single match against both Liverpool and Manchester City) for a record of three wins, four draws and one loss.

In the history of the two clubs, they are four to have worn the colors of both of tonight's sides: Nicolas Anelka, David Ngog, Mamadou Sakho and Mohamed Sissoko.
