Are you ready for Olympique Lyonnais?

Just hours before tonight's 21:00 CET kick-off between Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon at the Parc des Princes in Week 9 of Ligue 1, PSG.FR gives you a few key stats and facts for the game...

THE MATCH
It's the 95th official meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon, a French classic. Paris have only played two other clubs more than the number of times they've locked horns with OL: Bordeaux (102 matches) and Monaco (98 matches).

Paris Saint-Germain edges the head to head record with 38 wins, 27 draws and 29 losses. Les Rouge et Bleu haven't lost at home to Lyon since a 3-2 defeat at the Parc on 28 October 2007.

Paris Saint-Germain have equalled the French league record of eight consecutive wins to start the campaign (set by Olympique Lillois in 1936-37) and can establish a new mark with all three points tonight. The best ever start to a season in Europe's top five leagues was 11 straight wins set by Tottenham in 1960-61.

THE PLAYERS
Edinson Cavani is Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorer against Les Gones with eight goals, ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic (7 goals) and Mustapha Dahleb (6 goals).

26 players have played for both sides. Ferland Mendy and Moussa Dembélé - who both came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy - have not been counted as neither played a competitive match for the first team.

THE BONUS
Parc des Princes will be a sell-out tonight. A far cry from the 4,520 spectators that saw the two sides play on 27 May 1980 (2-1 for Paris Saint-Germain), which remains the smallest home crowd ever for the capital club at the Parc des Princes.
