Angel Di Maria in the top 10

By scoring in Paris Saint-Germain's 6-1 win over Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Champions League Matchday 3 clash at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday, 3 October, Angel Di Maria entered into the top ten list of the club's all-time goal scorers.

The Rouge et Bleus' number 11 has now scored 56 goals in 145 official matches since his arrival in France in 2015, level with Guillaume Hoarau, who took 161 matches to score the same number of goals between July 2008 and January 2013. The next rung on the ladder for Di Maria is Carlos Bianchi, Paris Saint-Germain's highest-scoring Argentine player, who struck 71 goals in just 80 matches between 1977 and 1979.
