A bit of history...

Paris Saint-Germain against Bordeaux is a fixture with a rich history. The Girondins are the team the Parisians have faced most over the years, the two outfits having played each other 106 times, just ahead of Monaco (104 matches), Lyon (100 matches) and Marseille (98 matches).

It’s also against Bordeaux that Paris Saint-Germain recorded their first point in their first division history after a 0-0 draw on August 15 1971.
