All you need to know: OGC Nice - Paris Saint-Germain!

All the background and stats ahead of Saturday's game at the Allianz Riviera.

A LITTLE HISTORY...

It will be the 78th competitive meeting of the two teams. The Parisians' record reads: 32 wins, 23 draws, 22 defeats.

It's the Club's 39th competitive game in Nice where they have recorded 15 wins, nine draws and 14 defeats. The Parisians have done well at Nice's Allianz Riviera home where they have won seven of their last eight league games since the stadium was inaugurated in 2013.

The Parisians have won on their last four trips to Nice: 2-1  on 18 March 2018, 3-0 on 29 September 2018, 4-1 on 18 October 2019, and 3-0 on 20 September 2020. It's the club's best run against Nice, and is close to the club record of six against Lorient, Nantes (both runs ended) and Metz (ongoing).

Forty players have played for both teams: Fabrice Abriel, Jean-Pierre Adams, Jérôme Alonzo, William Ayache, Dominique Baratelli, Hatem Ben Arfa, Jules Bocandé, Mathieu Bodmer, Jean-Pierre Bosser, Daniel Bravo, José Cobos, Eric Cubilier, Mustapha Dahleb, James Debbah, Guy Delhumeau, Jean Deloffre, Kaba Diawara, Didier Digard, Franck Dja Djédjé, Jean-François Douis, Pierre Dréossi, David Hellebuyck, Jean-Noël Huck, Christophe Jallet, Sylvain Léandri, Jean-Louis Leonetti, Lionel Letizi, Danijel Ljuboja, Larrys Mabiala, Stanley Nsoki, Grégory Paisley, Fabrice Poullain, Jocelyn Rico, Daniel Sanchez, Liazid Sandjak, Marco Simone, Nambatingue Toko, Sammy Traoré, Franck Vandecasteele and Zlatko Vujovic.

THE STAKES...

With a 15-point lead over second-placed Marseille, the Parisian club is in a strong position at the top of the table, and will look to use the trip to Nice to prepare for Wednesday's UEFA Champions League tie at Real Madrid.

In spite of the absence of Kylian Mbappé (suspended), the Parisians will need to find a way to goal against Nice and end a run of successive matches without scoring at the Parc des Princes.

They have generally enjoyed the Allianz Riviera, however, netting 10 times in their last three matches there.

KEYS TO THE match...

The club could reach the 2900 goal mark in Ligue 1 - they currently stand on 2898.

Idrissa Gueye could make his 200th L1 appearance (134 matches with Lille, 65 with Paris Saint-Germain).
