All you need to know about Paris vs Lille!

Past meetings, what's at stake and the keys to the game… Here's all you need to know before Paris Saint-Germain host Lille at the Parc des Princes this evening (9pm CET) on Matchday 12 of Ligue 1.

A LITTLE HISTORY...

Paris Saint-Germain and Lille have crossed paths 97 times in all competitions and the capital side have had the best of those meetings – winning 39 games, drawing 25 and losing 32.

Last season's 1-0 Ligue 1 defeat (3 April) provided Lille with their first victory at the Parc des Princes in 25 years, since a 1-0 league reverse for Paris on 27 April 1996. Les Rouge et Bleu had remained unbeaten in 24 competitive games against Lille at the Parc des Princes before that loss last term (16 wins, eight draws).

Twenty-six players have represented both clubs: Jocelyn Angloma, Mathieu Bodmer, François Brisson, Bernard Bureau, Yohan Cabaye, Aliou Cissé, Lucas Digne, Oumar Dieng, Pierre Dréossi, Pierre-Alain Frau, Idrissa Gueye, Jonathan Ikoné, Mickaël Landreau, Bernard Lama, Christophe Landrin, Edvin Murati, Pascal Nouma, Bernard Pardo, Christian Perez, Stéphane Pichot, Jacky Planchard, Thierry Rabat, David Rozehnal, Younousse Sankharé, Amara Simba and Timothy Weah. In addition, Mike Maignan and Boubakary Soumaré both came through the Paris academy though never played for the first team in a competitive match.

Dominique Rocheteau is Paris's all-time leading scorer against Lille, having struck eight goals, including six at the Parc des Princes. Next on the list are Safet Susic (seven goals), Edinson Cavani, Lucas (five apiece), Jean-Claude Bras, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr and Pedro Miguel Pauleta (four apiece).

Four of Paris Saint-Germain's five quickest goals in the top flight have been scored against Lille: Maxwell at the Parc des Princes (26 seconds, 25 April 2015), Zlatan Ibrahimovic in northern France (27 seconds, 2 September 2012), Nordine Kourichi in his own net (45 seconds, 22 October 1983) and Safet Susic (48 seconds, 20 October 1990), the last two having been struck at Paris's home ground.

THE STAKES...

Seven points clear of nearest rivals RC Lens, Paris Saint-Germain will take on the reigning Ligue 1 champions as comfortable leaders at the top of the standings.

Paris's forwards enjoy facing Lille, with the 127 goals scored against Les Dogues placing them in the top ten of clubs the capital side has racked up goals against: behind Saint-Etienne (161 goals), Lyon (160), Lens (146), Marseille (145), Nantes, Bordeaux (both 142), Metz (138) and Bastia (134), with Sochaux tied on 127.

THE KEYS TO THE GAME...

Paris have won their last nine matches in all competitions at the Parc des Princes since the 2-1 loss to Manchester City on 28 April. The capital outfit are also on a run of eight straight wins in Ligue 1 at the Parc… since the 1-0 defeat by Lille on 3 April.

Paris's forwards will need to be clinical up front. Lille were the only team not to concede a goal against Les Rouge et Bleu last season, winning 1-0 in Paris and drawing 0-0 at home.

Juan Bernat, Ander Herrera and Mauro Icardi could all dispute their 50th Ligue 1 games in this evening's match.
