Achraf Hakimi's Morocco poised to get AFCON campaign underway
Having been called up by Morocco, Achraf Hakimi is set to feature at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, which will get underway tomorrow in the Ivory Coast. So, let’s take a look at the Paris full-back’s schedule with the Atlas Lions (all kick-off times given in CET).
Morocco, who have been drawn into Group F alongside Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia, will play their opening game against the first of these three teams at 18:00 on Wednesday 17th January. They will then face DR Congo at 15:00 on Sunday 21st January, before taking on Zambia in their final group game at 21:00 on Wednesday 24th January.
In what is surely a good omen for Walid Regragui's side, Achraf Hakimi has notched up four goals and four assists for Paris so far this season.
