Hakimi's Morocco through to the last 16!

A Morocco side featuring Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi beat Zambia 1-0 at Laurent Pokou Stadium in San-Pédro last night in their third and final group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Atlas Lions' win means that they remain unbeaten at the tournament and finish top of Group F with seven points, thereby putting them through to the last 16 of the competition.

There, they will face South Africa – who came second in Group E with four points – at 20:00 CET on Tuesday 30th January, again at Laurent Pokou Stadium.
