Achraf Hakimi named Arab Sportsman of the Year for 2022
Paris Saint-Germain full-back Achraf Hakimi was named as the Arab Sportsman of the Year for 2022 at the Joy Awards in Riyadh last night.
With four goals and six assists to his name in 38 games for Paris Saint-Germain in 2022, Achraf Hakimi received the Arab Sportsman of the Year award at the Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, yesterday.
2022 was a year in which the Rouge et Bleu defender also guided Morocco to the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations in January, before closing out the year with an exceptional World Cup campaign in which the Atlas Lions made it all the way to a semi-final against France – a first for an African side at the World Cup.
