Achraf Hakimi: 'I hope to continue writing history in this shirt'

Achraf, COngratulations on your 100th match FoR Paris. What is your first real memory here?

"I think the first moment that I remember well was my first league match. We played at Troyes and I scored my first goal for Paris. It was a magnificent debut and a special moment for me. We started the season very well with a new team, and when it's like that, it gives you more confidence."

If you had to choose a second memorY, WHAT would it be?

"My first goal for Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. It wasn't long ago, it was against Dortmund. It was also a special match because I was playing one of my former clubs. I scored my first goal in the competition with Paris, it was special. It was an incredible feeling. The atmosphere, the supporters, the competition... We had a difficult group, so it was important to help the team with a goal at that time."

FInally, what is your third best memory that comes to mind?

"I think another special moment of this year was my first goal in a Classique. It's a moment you remember for your whole life. For the supporters and all of the Paris fans, this type of match is special... For all Parisians, scoring in a Classique, everyone remembers it. And also because we achieved a big victory here at home, and it wasn't just a 'normal' goal. It was a goal from a free-kick, which makes it even more special. It's a unique feeling. Starting the match like that, celebrating with all the supporters, it's a source of joy. When we celebrated, we were talking, telling ourselves that we should continue like this, with the same intensity. We shouldn't sit back, we should keep going to score the second, the third..."

AND SCORING FROM FREE-kICKS, IS THIS SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE WORKED ON?

"It's something that I try to work on in training. I like when I score free-kicks. Of course, it's not easy to do so, so when you do, it's unique.

My fourth moment is winning my first title with Paris Saint-Germain. The one we won at home and celebrated against Metz. It was a special moment to win my first trophy wearing this shirt. It's fantastic to enter the history of a great club like Paris Saint-Germain. I hope to continue writing history in this shirt."

TO COnclude, CAn you think of a 5th memory?  

"My last memory, it's also about the context of the match, about the supporters, the atmosphere. It was a special match against Real Madrid at home, when Kylian (Mbappé) scored in the last minute. We played a great game, scoring in the final minute, it was a unique match. It's one of my most beautiful memories wearing this shirt. For me, it's a moment of joy that I enjoyed with my teammates, with my friends. And it's also because we played against my former club. We scored, and it was a magnificent victory in the Round of 16... The supporters supported us throughout the match, they celebrated the victory in the last minute. It was magnificent."
