Achraf Hakimi and Morocco qualify for the semi-finals

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Achraf Hakimi's Morocco defeated Vitinha's Portugal in the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

After their impressive victory over Spain in the previous round, Morocco, led by Parisian defender Hakimi, faced Portugal and the Red and Blue's Vitinha, in the quarter-finals of the competition.

In a closely contested encounter, it was Walid Regragui's men who managed to progress to the next round. Achraf Hakimi was in the starting line-up and played the whole game. Vitinha was on the bench at kick-off and came on in the 69th minute. For the Parisian midfielder and his team, the Qatari adventure unfortunately ends here.
