Abdou Diallo and Julian Draxler visit the ROUGE & BLUE School

The Paris Saint-Germain defender and midfielder got back into the classroom on Wednesday afternoon.

There is still a month to go until the official opening of the ROUGE & BLEU School for the fourth successive year, but the educational team welcomed some 30 children for an early 'back to school' day on Wednesday. Along with some fun workshops and sports exercises, they were joined by Abdou Diallo and Julian Draxler. It was a chance for the two players to hand out some presents, take part in a quiz about the club, and talk with the children.

"I'm really pleasantly surprised by everything you can do at the ROUGE & BLEU School, and I have already promised to come back and spend time with the children here. It was a great day," Diallo said.

Since 2016, the ROUGE & BLEU Schools offer after-school sporting and pedagogical activities two times a week to local primary school children. The aim is to help the children enjoy learning, develop their confidence and give them some happy moments in line with the values of Paris Saint-Germain Children First : respect, sharing and unity.

Fun, sporting activities, cultural discovery, the transmission of constructive values, raising awareness of health, nutrition, disability and environmental issues, it's an alternative way to learn that is on offer to young children in the Paris region.

This year, 128 kids are expected to attend the schools in Paris and Mantes-la-Jolie.
