A sell-out crowd to celebrate the title

This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain will celebrate its eighth Ligue 1 crown after the home match with Dijon, in front of a sell-out crowd at the Parc des Princes.

With 88 points and 100 goals scored, Les Rouge et Bleu have enjoyed one of their most convincing Ligue 1 triumphs, in this their 45th consecutive top-flight campaign.

This season, Paris Saint-Germain won the sixth championship of the QSI era after 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. In total, it is the 39th trophy won by the club since it was founded in 1970 – more than any other French club.

In the Parc des Princes that is sold out for a record 52nd match in a row, and in the presence of a host of former stars including Sarr Boubacar, Marcos Ceara, Didier Domi, Bernard Lama and Amara Simba, every player and member of the coaching staff will receive their Hexagoal trophy from the hands of LFP president Nathalie Boy de la Tour, and Paris Saint-Germain chairman and CEO Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. The reward for an exceptional Ligue 1 season which featured a European record 14 consecutive victories to start the season!

Les Parisiens will then do a traditional lap of honour to share the historic moment with their fans.

The evening’s celebrations will climax with a spectacular pyrotechnical display in Rouge et Bleu in the skies above the Parc des Princes. It will be a moment of for the club to celebrate the club’s history and look ahead to festivities in 2020 and the Paris Saint-Germain’s 50th birthday!
